3 Just Released Netflix Shows You Must Watch On The Weekend


Netflix is the one thing that keeps us alive in these times of boredom. With the weekend coming closer, everyone might be planning to do some ‘Netflix & Chill’ with their family and friends. But what should you watch? Something that is on its uttermost hype? Or something new and gracious? Here are three just-released TV shows on Netflix that you can binge-watch on the weekend to kill the boredom and get some Netflix & Chill time with your family and friends.

 1) My Name

Over the years, Netflix has made it possible for the people sitting in the USA to watch and embrace the quality storyline and watch TV shows from all across the world. Jumping over the hurdle of language. With the emergence of Netflix, many South Korean shows rose to fame. The recent phenomenon ‘Squid Game’ is also a South Korean show.

Another gem coming directly from Seoul, South Korea, is ‘My Name’. The show starring Han So-hee, Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Hee-soon was released on Netflix on October 15 2021. The viewers and critics have highly praised the show. 

Directed by Kim Jin-min, the story revolves around a lady who becomes part of a gang to get revenge for her father’s death that was a murder. Keeping her one hand on the criminal gangs. She joins the police force under the command of a strong criminal leader. 

2) Maid

Starring Margaret Qualley and Andie MacDowell. The show is on its way to beating The Queen’s Gambit and becoming Netflix’s most-watched limited series.

Released on October 1, 2021, the show revolves around the life of Alex (Qualley), a single mother who starts to do housekeeping to battle against poverty and homelessness.

3) The Chestnut Man

A serial killer who leaves a bunch of men made chestnuts. Based on the novel of the same name by Soren Sveistrup, The Chestnut Man is a slow burn gift for the fans of murder mysteries. 

The show was released on September 29 and revolved around the brutal murders of an entire family in 1987. Jumping 30 years in time, a young woman is murdered in Copenhagen with her one hand missing. 

The show will give you spine chilling vibes if you do not look towards serial killer encounters a lot.
