Good Omens Season 2 Announced! Here’s What We Know About The New Season

 

Good Omens is one of Amazon’s most loved shows. Michael Sheen has a new surprise for fans, and it is regarding the return of Good Omens on Amazon Prime Video with its Season 2.

Creator Neil Gaiman went on Twitter to announce the news of renewal, and of course, we will be meeting David Tennant and Michael Sheen again. Here’s what you must know about Good Omens Season 2. 

Good Omens Season 2: When Will It Release?

Neil Gaiman, the author, executive producer, and creator of the show announced the good news regarding the show’s revival on Twitter. He tweeted, 

“What glorious (and dangerous) trouble will our favorite angel and demon find themselves in this time? Good news! #GoodOmens is returning for Season 2 on @PrimeVideo.”

Moreover, during a conversation with TVLine, Gaiman said,

“It’s been 31 years since Good Omens was released, which means it’s 32 years since Terry Pratchett and I were in our respective beds in a Seattle hotel room at a World Fantasy Convention planning to continue.”

The filming for the second season will begin in Scotland this year, while a release date is still not known for the same.

For the fans of the franchise and Neil Gaiman, along with the second season of Good Omens, Anansi Boys is the following work by Neil Gaiman, which will also be coming to Amazon Prime Video. While it is also anchored in the same universe as Good Omens, it is undoubtedly not a spin-off of Good Omens.
